SYNOPSIS
ROMANCE DE BARRIO is a contemporary tango production by the REA dance company. With six dancers, a swing as the central scenery and meeting point, a musical selection made up of tangos of very different styles and a language of movement that starts from tango to expand into contemporary, acrobatic and theatrical classics, Romance de Barrio tells us about love, of passing loves.
In the neighborhood square, sheltered from a place that fosters intimate moments in the midst of the bustle of the big city. The squeaking of hammocks is the countdown to how long romances last, which, like the coming and going of the swing, come and go again. Romances that appear and disappear in common places but in a singular way.
