SYNOPSIS
TRES ESQUINAS Tango This is the new show by REA danza, which transports the audience to the legendary neighborhood of Buenos Aires known as Tres Esquinas, part of the outskirts where the vibrant and passionate culture of tango emerges.
Through dance, Tres Esquinas captures the essence of movement, reflecting the flow of life during that crucial moment in the 1940s. The show becomes an immersive experience that tells the story of the transformation of the area, from its origins as a stronghold of the outskirts to its evolution into a residential area, an industrial center, and a transportation hub, where the playful, the laborious, and the transient coexist. This journey through time reveals the "last curda" of a past about to end, marking the close of an era rich in history and the rise of tango as a unique artistic expression, born from the vitality and movement of that place: Tres Esquinas.
TRES ESQUINAS comes from the REA danza company, which, with 33 years of stage experience, has perfected tango dance, creating its own style characterized by the inclusion of elements from classical and contemporary dance, as well as acrobatics, combined with a carefully crafted stage production and exquisite musical selection, making it their personal signature.
